Jyothi Sanjeevini Scheme 2024
A new health scheme named as Jyothi Sanjeevini for employees has been introduced by the state of Karnataka. The scheme was launched with the intention of offering government workers health security. To participate in this scheme, government personnel must register with the Arogya Suraksha Trust. Under this scheme, serious medical conditions will be treated. Only when the recipient is admitted to the hospital or has surgery will they be eligible for the benefits of this scheme. This system is known by its abbreviation, JSS. This scheme will allow certain hospitals to provide cashless treatment.
Only tertiary and emergency care goals for life-threatening conditions requiring hospital stays, surgeries, and other therapies are eligible for this program. Applicants may receive care from super specialty hospitals that are associated. Cardiology, oncology, genitourinary surgery, neurology, burns, polytrauma situations and neonatal and pediatric surgery are among the seven specialties for which tertiary and emergency care is covered by this insurance scheme.

Eligibility Criteria

- The applicant must live in Karnataka.
- The applicant has to be an active state government worker.
- The scheme has not been extended to pensioners.
- Those employed by assisted independent institutions who do not have a KGID number connected to the HRMS database are unable to qualify for this scheme.
- Since the police Arogya Bhagya scheme is a different health insurance scheme for police officers, the police department is also ineligible to apply under this scheme.
