Krishak Unnati Yojana
Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Vishnu Devta addressed a meeting of the Council of Ministers on March 6 at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan. It was approved in the cabinet meeting to execute the Unnati Yojana for the state’s farmers starting in Kharif 2023-2024, fulfilling another pledge made by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Objective of Krishak Unnati Yojana

The associated proposal for the Unnati Yojana states that farmers will receive input support in the amount of Rs 19,257 per acre based on buying of paddy in the Kharif year 2023. Benefits of Krishak Unnati Yojana
The benefits of this yojana is given below:
- The state government is required to buy paddy under this arrangement and provide the farmers a one time payment.
- Farmers would be paid 21 quintals per acre of paddy under this arrangement.
- In order to cover the whole cost of buying paddy at the rate of 21 quintals per acre, the government would provide the farmers Rs 3100.
