Thekedar Saksham Yuva Scheme

Thekedar Saksham Yuva was introduced by the Haryana Chief Minister. Under this, the government would provide three months of specialized training to 10,000 young people who have degrees or certificates in engineering. Under this program, which is run under Mission @60,000, 10,000 young people with engineering diplomas and degrees will receive specialized training for three months before becoming contractors.

The jobless youth will learn how to do a variety of tasks during the training, such as creating layout plans, comprehending and using detailed drawings, performing technical calculations, upholding quality standards, etc. During the second half of the training period, they will receive various training courses for hands-on training at civil work sites.

Implementation Process

• Manohar Lal said that qualified youths wishing to launch their own enterprises would also have the opportunity to apply for interest-free loans up to Rs. 3 lakhs for a year.
