The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is putting on a unique program for school children named the Young Scientist Programme or YUva VIgyani KAryakram (YUVIKA) to encourage learning and spark children’s interest. Students in class 9 who are interested in the ISRO Young Scientist Program 2024 can apply online. There will be a registration window for ISRO YUVIKA 2024 from 20 February to 20 March 2024. ISRO Yuvika Registration

The Young Scientist Programme also known as YUva VIgyani KAryakram (YUVIKA) is a unique program being organized by the Indian Space Research Organization. The STEM fields science, technology, engineering and mathematics are encouraged to be pursued by more students due to this initiative.

The Young Scientist Programme (YUVIKA) 2024 has been announced by ISRO. It is a two week residential program for school children with registration opening on 20 February 2024 and a list of accepted students released for all students. The scheme gives students in schools basic knowledge about Space Technology, Space Science and Space Applications.

Objective of ISRO Yuvika Registration

The main objective of the program is to introduce 9th graders to the fundamentals of space science, technology and applications while presenting the most recent advancements in the field. With young people viewed as the future backbone of the nation, ISRO considers their effort as a part of a plan to expose them to space science from a young age.

Registration Procedure of ISRO Yuvika Registration

• First you have to visit the Official Website of the ISRO.
• The homepage will appear on your screen.

• Click on the Join Now option.
• The login page will appear on your screen.
• Click on the Register link.
• The registration form will appear on your screen.
• Enter all the required details in the form such as:
  • Name
  • Address
  • Email ID
  • Mobile number etc
• Click on the register button.
• The OTP will be sent to your email id or mobile number.
• Click on the participate in space quiz button.
• Enter all the required details like personal profile and education details.
• Obtain a photocopy of the certificates and have the head of school or the principal sign it to verify validity.
• You have to upload all the verified certificates.
• Make your certificate such that it may be verified by your head of school, principal, parent or guardian.
• After scanning, uploading, and submitting the document, finish the application.
